Kronospan at SICAM 2025: Materials, Design Logic, and Market Relevance
At SICAM 2025, Kronospan presented a coordinated overview of the current product developments across its brands: Kronodesign, Kaindl, Skin, and Falco. The stand displayed practical design solutions, material realism, and the link between aesthetic trends and industrial feasibility.
With the evolving decorative surface market, Kronospan's presentation favored long-term trends over seasonal fashion. The booth exhibition highlighted the interpretation of recent shifts in the furniture and interior design industries – toward more tangible finishes, natural tones, and design value.
One of the focuses was the unicolor line combined with the Primavera wood surface, ensuring color versatility alongside tactile quality. This approach addresses a growing preference for materials that feel organic yet maintain a statement appearance. It offers designers more freedom and end users satisfying authenticity.
A real spotlight was the Worktops table, showcasing marble designs with no pattern repetition along the whole length of the panel. The "Signature by Kronospan" commode also garnered attention, as it displayed the organization's most innovative products in application.
There were discussions about the renewed interest in walnut designs and richer, more emotive materials, which Kronodesign and Kaindl lines introduced in their novelties. At the same time, oaks continue to be a benchmark of the industry and, respectively, Kronospan's portfolio. Appreciated for their market stability and cross-style versatility, Kaind's new oak designs made a statement.
The Pordenone fair remains one of the key European events for furniture component manufacturers and suppliers, attracting more than 600 exhibitors and visitors from over 30 countries. The 2025 edition highlighted the fusion of design intent, technology, and material performance. Kronospan not only develops its collections with design longevity and customer needs in mind, but also translates modern surface manufacturing into advanced, strong industry confidence and face-to-face networking.
